So happy I found you and this interview. I’m 75 and needed this conversation. At 69 I met my current partner. This is the longest , 5 years, I’ve been in a relationship ever in this life. He’s my “amiable companion “ and he supports me to do what I want to do. It’s a comfortable experience to expand more love in my life. I’ve been an independent woman since my 20’s, Traveling and teaching around the states. Living a life focused on spiritual evolution of myself and helping others live more from their heart and less from their headspace. I look forward to more involvement on Substack and having my own writings and words shared here.
Thank you for sharing your journeys! As a 54 year old woman, who divorced 10 years ago and lived in Asia for many years. I can relate to much of what you talked about and am starting over now back in Canada to be close to my grandchildren. But I do hope to travel more! I was born in Turku Finland, grew up in Toronto Canada, lived in Phnom Penh Cambodia and am now in Thunder Bay Canada with the largest immigrant population of Finns! Each country that I have lived in and travelled to has informed my worldview and taught be invaluable lessons. You are both inspirational!
Hello, and thank you very much for interesting and encouraging conversation. I only intended to listen for a moment but there came up so interesting things, that I coudn´t stop! I´m little over 60 and I think those themes also myself. I agree that travelling and getting to know different people and situations helps us understand better life. Also to remember that age is not a limit to anything.
It was also nice to see you Kati. I recieve your letter regularly in the e-mail, but now I know better who is the writer :) All the best to you both ! t: Mäkelän Sari Kankaanpäästä

What an inspiring story! Thank you for sharing ❤️
Happy you found my interview with Kati Reijonen, and your comments made my day!
Looks like you and your partner discovered one another at the perfect time in life, thrilled for your joy and love.
Just goes to show there is no "age" to falling in love, it can happen at any time.
Appreciate you writing Kristine!

Thank you Kristina M, you’ve accomplished a huge thing, starting a new journey and yes living in different countries does change us.
That is cool you found a tribe of Finns in Canada!
The thing about traveling is the longer you stay, the more affordable it gets. Depending on the country.
Cambodia is one of my top 5 favorite countries, went twice, for 3 months. Motorbiked all over the country.
